Falstaff, Don Giovanni, Studying…

Hi there! I hope you are having a nice weekend. This week I had rehearsals for our new production of Falstaff, and two performances of Don Giovanni on Friday and Sunday. Both performances went well, and I had fun on stage. There were some funny moments, like local jokes between my colleagues on stage, sometimes is good to have also fun on stage (within proportion), and enjoy the evening.

Our rehearsals of Falstaff are going really well, Magdalena is doing a good job and she is very clear and works efficiantly, I wish more directors were like her and not just justifying how to spend time, wihout being efficiant. Unfortunately, there are some people who are great at waisting time and others time, loosing focus and energy and overall efficiancy of the team. I can not overly remark the fact that much time is lost in the creative process of doing a produciton just for the lack of knowladge of both the director and the singer who are not well prepared, simple as that.

I keep doing my 4 time routine excercise per week and my daily reading. Plus I am learning as a mark 80 Kanji, of which I have arrived to number 50, so 30 more to go. There are over 2000 Kanji, so I am just covering a spec of it but slowly will get there, some day haha.
