Moving, unpacking, farewell Wuerzburg...

Hi there! This week I made few trips between Wuerzburg and Chemnitz. It was so much to pack and move. The colleagues and friends from the theater helped us to load the truck to bring everything to Chemnitz. Tobias a violisnist from the orchestra, drove us all the way up here. Thank you to all of you!!! Akiho and I are really grateful.

This is the first time I will be living in the east of Germany. I am looking forward to explore and to hopefully get use to it. We moved officially here on Wednesday, today is Sunday and still have many boxes to sort out. Mostly clothes and specially books. We both have many books and not enough bookshelves to accomodate them. We are waiting for some shelves we ordered online, and hopefully will come in the next few days. Kitchen utensils, we must also finish to sort out. Our flat here is not so big so we must get tid of a lot of stuff. We already did, but there may be more things we have to get rid of in the coming days, we will see.

I am slowly getting into the reality that I left Wuerzburg, a city that for the last 8 years has been my home and my place of work. I am going through many thoughts and getting often very nostalgic. I do treasure all these last years and all the things I did in that city and at the theater. I am sure I will keep sort of analyzing and just digesting many events that happened all these last 8 years. What the future brings I do not know but I will keep doing my best and preparing for whatever comes. I am for now looking forward to go back next season as guest for the revival of Falstaff during the autumn.

The coming months will be about adapting and searching new ways to make my living and music. I hope auditions will come and that I will get them so that I can get jobs, and with it keep planning further. I am also trying to organize concerts and so, lots of doing will be involve in the next few months. I will keep you posted.

I am feeling every muscle of my body after so carring so many boxes and furniture. Nevertheless I kept my 4 day routine exercise and kept reading Holiday and Tolstoi everyday.

I hope you are well, please take care and see you next week.
