Don Giovanni, Bayreuth, audition...

Hi there, I hope you are well. This week due to illness in the Falstaff team we only had some musical rehearsals but not stage rehearsals. Today I had Don Giovanni and the next one will be the last performance of this production. It has been nice to sing Don Ottavio and to get to sing both arias, and I am ready to say bye bye for now to this role. It is always challenging singing Mozart and I am glad I had the opportunity to do few Operas by him, here in Würzburg.

This week I also went for an audition not so far from here. I will let you know if is a positive outcome but for now I am glad I challenged myself to sing again some repertoire I have not sung in a long time.

Yesterday Saturday, Akiho jumped in, in Bayreuth singing Servillia in Tito (Mozart) at the beautiful Margravial Opera House. She did great and also Vero Miller did really good as Sesto. We did here in Würzburg last season "La clemenza di Tito", I sang Tito and they same roles. I must say it was really nice to see both from the otherside as public.

I continue with my 4 time a week exercise routine and reading " Daily stoic" by R. Holiday. Please take and see you here next week.
