Christmas, Die lustige Witwe, rehearsals...

Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you had a fantastic week. From my side, here at the theater we continue with rehearsals of Don Giovanni, but for me it was relaxing cause I almost had no rehersals this week. Instead I had 2 performances of Die lustige Witwe as Camille de Rosillon, a role that I really enjoy. Today, Sunday 24th I am with Akiho, we prepared Christmas lunch/dinner, and we ate a lot and we watched the animated version of The Grinch and started with a Japanese series called Vivant on Netflix. Tomorrow 25th I have a performance of Die lustige Witwe, that is why we have a relax day, the two of us enjoying, and at the same time missing our families in Mexico and Japan. I managed to talk to my mum on the phone and she is spending Christmas with our family in Mexicali, Mexico. I am really happy she with her sister and my cousins, it is great to know that she is with company and family at this time of the year, specially with me being so far away.

I keep my exercise routine (4 times a week) and keep reading " The Daily Stoic" by Ryan Holiday and I finished the book "What every body is seing" by Joe Navarro (Ex FBI agent). It was a very interesting read and specially together with the book "Cues" by Van Edwards. It is fascinating how much we tell and communicate through nonverbal activity. This week I abandonded a bit " The Laws of Human Nature" by Greene, in order to finish Navarro's book but I will continue next week with it. Last week I started with Benjamin Franklin's autobiography, which I will resume in the coming week as well. Since I was a kid I love learning and keep discovering, and I guess will keep doing so pretty much until the day I leave this plane of existence.

See you here next week, take care.
