Resting, cold, rehearsals...
Hi there, this week was nice although I was dealing with a cold, I still managed to have a nice time. It started on Sunday night and on Monday I was sure I was sick. I took care to recover as fast as I could by resting and taking all home remedies. Now, I still have some stuff in my nose and throat but I am feeling much better and I was already able to attend to rehearsals.
This week as I was mostly at home, I did cook some nice things as well I baked some oats bread and maiz bread. Akiho came for the weekend and we are having a nice relax Sunday and just watched a movie on Disney Plus, with Vero Miller which is a colleague from the theater. Also had a nice chat with her and I cooked some simple dinner for the three of us.
This week I went through some interviews from Pavarotti and Mirealla Freni and rewacthed many videos from different singers and concerts. Although sick I still stayed disciplined in terms of doing my excercise routine this week and my steps (at home), it was a bit more challenging and I was not feeling in good shape but I got through it.
I kept reading Ryan Holiday and Robert Greene as well I started a book from Agustin Laje which my father gave me because he wanted me to read it, so I started it. Interesting fact, as I enjoy watching videos on Youtube, the last few days I have been watching a lot of videos of the origins of Martial Arts and I came across with a very nice interview with Bruce Lee and I did not know he studied Philosophy. Also watching the way he talks and moves is so interesting I must say I find amazing to find so many rare interviews from really anything and also very old ones. Among the rare recordings there are many of the very first audio recordings from tenors of the first half of the XX century and also interviews of them talking about the voice and how they used it.
See you next week, take care.
