Still Positive…

This week I finally went out of quarantine and finally rehearsed again Rinuccio from Schicchi and today Sunday we have a performance of it. It has been around 3 months since the last show of it. Unfortunately due my PCR still showing positive I cannot perform, although my quick test since 4 days shows negative everyday. As far as I know officially you can leave quarantine with a negative quick test so as a normal person I can go out and live my life but because I work at the theater, at the moment we need to do 3 PCR tests per week. If the PCR shows positive we cannot perform on stage and we must be back in quarantine, in my case for further 3 days (as far as I know). Therefore I cannot perform tonight and must stay at home. But, Few hour ago I had a phone call from the Health Department and they told me that with a quick test I can officially go out, I mentioned that I had my last quick test on Friday and that I have no symtoms, so they gave me the green light to be out of quarantine officially. I am really glad about it.

This week singing Rinuccio after having covid and my voice not being 100 percent still felt better than months ago. What I mean is that I believe I sang Rinuccio last in november and singing it now feels slightly easier or more on my voice. I have been, as I wrote in some of my previews blogs, trying a different approach technically in some parts of my voice and exploring new colors. After changing some things in the last few months it has helped to the develop of my voice and Rinuccio also feels better.

Next week I will fly to London for a concert so I am looking forward to tell you about it on my next blog. Take care and until next week.
