Performances cancelled!

Due to the current situation this week we had 5 performances cancelled so I had some time to study Lensky and enjoyed the last week with my mum in Europe, remember she is for the first time in this continent since I first moved in 2008.

I must say, among the few recordings of Onegin that I am listening to, I find the version with Neil Shicoff very good. I really like how he portrays the character with his musicality and his technique.

This week we went to Nuremberg for the day and it was really nice to show mum that beautiful city. She really liked it and found that the old buildings, which a lot of them were rebuild after the war, are indeed very beautiful and charming.

Among the performances that were cancelled was Capuleti. Aki and I were really looking forward to it. We wanted to sing and show mama this beautiful opera. Unfortunately it was not possible.

At the beginning of 2022 I am really looking forward to what it may bring us and to all of you. I hope that whatever your personal journey is, you get better and get things done. Do not give up and no matter in which situation you are in, never loose the ability to see the positive, even in the most troublesome situations.

I do have few challenges and things that I want to achieve, so lets keep working hard and smart and with heart.

Until next time.
