Double performance, Edgardo, reading...

Hi there! This week I had 2 performances of Don Giovanni, both went really well. Now we will have around 2 weeks pause of them, because we will take again Lustige Witwe next week. I will have a new soprano singing Valencienne and will have some stage rehearsals with her. Already this week we had a musical rehearsal, so that she can be ready next week for the performance on the 18th February.

This week I started to look at Fenton from Falstaff, learning the text and music. This will be the next new production at the theater and my last one as member of the ensemble in Mainfrankentheater Wuerzburg. I also started to remember, and slowly putting again in my voice the role of Edgardo. At the beginning of March we will have the revival of Lucia di Lammermoor so I need to hurry a bit with it. I am looking forward to sing the challenging role of Edgardo, and I have so much respect for it. I had a wonderful time last season singing it and this time around I want to get even better at it. It is a beautiful role and so nice to sing and it demands all my energy, which I gladly use for it.

I continue reading Discourses by Epictitus and, the daily stoic by R.Holiday. Also my 4 day exercise routine a week.

I hope you are well and see you here next week, take care.
